The most remote state of Nagaland in the North East was born on 1 December 1963. The state is divided into seven districts: Kohima, Phek, Mokokchung, Wokha, Xunhalato, Twensang and Mon. It is a largely hilly state. Important economic activity in Nagaland is Agriculture. Major crops include rice, maize, millet, beans, tobacco, oilseeds, sugarcane, potatoes and fiber.
